Looking for reference to two NC young men who boarded a train in NC for MS to join the CSA there. John Newton Williamson was then 15 years old, he served as a drummer boy, was wounded in the ankle with Union ball. His older brother James Doster
"Doss" Williamson was 18 years old. They settled near Attala/Madison Counties after the war. Trying to locate the units/companies that these boys served with in CSA. Any help appreciated.
