Confederate Service Records

Recently I received the service records of 3 relatives that were in the Ms 37th Infantry and am Now More confused than before, Two of them were in the Company E Shubuta Guards and the other was in the Company K Jasper Defenders.
All three had the same posting dates on their cards..
30 August - 30 October 1862. Two in the Shubuta Guards showed Sick in Hospital. The other Showed Sick in Hospital and Prisoner in the IUKA battle. My question for Help? All three were in the same Regiment and All three must have been prisoners in the same Hospital in Iuka, Is there any place where I may find something on the Hospital and why was that information not posted to the new muster cards. Yes all three were Temples
Thanks
