This is a little unusual and not a little embarrassing; however, my researcher from the National Archives has sent me the Compiled Military Service Record of J. H. (James H.) Crocker of the 41st Mississippi Infantry. I have no record of this order, so I don't know where to send it. This is also a little unusual, since Mr. Alan Pitts processes almost all of our Confederate records orders and this record was processed by Mr. Jonathan Deiss our Washington, DC based researcher who specializes in our Union records and special research projects, which can only be performed through the NARA.
I'm not the world's greatest bookkeeper; however, I've never lost an order before. If someone on the message board ordered this record from the Military Records Research Service offered through these message boards, please contact me.
