Going through the records of Thomas J. Bullock, 33rd Miss., it appears to me he spent nearly all of his time "detached to the cavalry" yet there is no mention of what unit of cav. this might have been. I checked the CWS&S and the ony T. J. Bullock records listed for Miss. are the 7th Inf., 33rd Inf and 12th Inf.

Can anyone give me any tips on how I might find out what unit T. J. Bullock was detached to? I have all of the above mentioned records but none mention being detached from.
