Re: Captain W. G. Middleton, 39th Al. Infantry

Captain W. G. Middleton of the 18th. Miss. Cavalry was a resident of Panola County in 1850 & 1860, census records indicate he was born in Alabama.

This soldier was wounded at Fort Pillow and later killed in action near Tupelo.
