Samuel B. Jaudon was the first son from the first marriage of Issac Jaudon to Elizabeth Herring. Their only son, Issac Papeleon Jaudon, was my father's grandfather.After the death of his mother(have reason to believe Samuel B. married and had children with wife #2 in Amory, MS), he was placed under the guardianship of his uncle in Monroe County, MS.
Issac Papeleon "Casey" Jaudon married Polly Ann Pope and had eight children. That eighth child, John Wesley Jaudon married Nannie Caroline Darby and they had thirteen children.They raised their family in Panola County,MS. My father was the 12th of those 13 descendents of Old Isaac. I am the fourth of four children of Baize Russell "Jimmie" Jaudon and his wife Gladys Ethel Hill.
Mary Hansen has been a endless source of information during my research. During my hiatus, she has been like a hound-dog with a bone....doing alot of my work for me. My hat goes off to her and any other researcher out there that has stumbled upon information about any JAUDON over the years that has aided me in filling in the blanks to my HISTORY OF "OLD ISAAC" JAUDON.
