Not sure what source you are using when you post the summary of a mans service. At any rate it seems fairly complete and detailed. I have the CSR of Cyrus L. (C.L) Oliver of 24th Miss. Cav. Family legend says he died during the war. Baptist records insist he died before the war. I beleve his CSR clearly shows he served. Note that Cyrus L. Oliver also had a brother Cornelius L.Oliver who served in the same unit. Both records are combined and the bulk of the CSR is about Cornelius. Can you find anything on Cyrus? I would like to determine a death date and place if possible. Do you have other records which may contain this info?
