Thanks Mitch for your help. Mitch, I'm trying to find out if any military activity took place between Burtonton (now Carpenter) in Copiah County and Willow Springs (now Willows) in Claiborne County. This in along the Bayou Pierre and White Oak Creeks. I know it's a long shot but I grew up in this area and would really like to know . There was a road that went from Burtonton to Willow Springs most of which isn't visible any more. Any help or suggestions will be grreately appreciated. Thanks again Hal.
