Thank you for the info. But the one with him at age 46 in 1864 he would not be that old. I don't know. thats how all the info I find on him is. They say he would never talk about his past. I found he had another family earlyier in life and pretty much went to the store and never returned. They never knew what happened to him until other family did the research a few years ago and we found each other that way.We are both having problems finding anything before him. We not only want to know more about him but we would like to know more about his parents,Grandparents and so on. We were hoping his military records would open some other doors to his life.
