John Clark: The census of 1860 indicates his birthday was 1834. On his Confederate marker at Plesant Springs Cemetery reads: John Clark, CO I, Ham's Miss CAV CSA, his wife Francis Teer Clark filed for widows pension on Aug 1916 stating he died in 1886 and that he enlisted in 1862. The person you have must be another John Clark? or possibly some of the info on two different John Clarks have been comingled? According to his widow he was discharged May1865 at the Battle of Shilo. Commander was Gen Forrest and Captin Calvin Curley company.
