Thank you very much for this information. I have been able to track him from Ala. to Ashley County AR. but could find no war info on him. He would have been 18 or 19 years old when the 5th was formed up, so the timeline fits. I still live on part of the property he aquired when he moved to AR. around 1905. Again thank you.
