Ihave a photo of my ggggrandfather, two of his brothers and his best friend in uniforms. They served with the 2nd MS co.A. His name was John M. Galyean/Galion.This is a great pic and all 3 brothers survived the war but the best friend John P. Rose was killed at 1st Manassas.All have on the same uniforms and one is holding a sword. They are longer coats, high collars, 3 buttons on the sleeves and 3 rows of 9 buttons down the front. Cant tell what color but it is very clear.Was told that this may be Malitia uniforms,anyone have a clue? Thanks.
