Re: Finns Point National Cemetery

The John W Crow that I find in Itawamba County is 11 years old in 1860 and is the son of my James W Crow. The only Crow family living in Itawamba County in 1860 is James W Crow, that I have found. I'm having trouble finding the 1870 census for all of my Crow family, I should say for James D. William Crow family.

This is a son of James W Crow, Three sons are buried in Moore Hill Cemetery.
James Andrew Jackson Crow:

Crow, Jack A. 11 Nov 1847 1 Nov 1891 s/o James D. William Crow & Mary Ann (Kyle) Moore Hill Cemetery, Yell County, Arkansas.

I have no proof that James is John yet. All the trees at ancestry have My James POW at Fort Delaware and died in Oct 1863. But you know how researchers copy-an-past. I will not do that.

You wrote that John was born in Alabama, Well My James was born in North Carolina from 2 census records, but three of his children were born in Alabama.

more research later. I thank you for your research Mr. Hugh.
If you don't mind I have added your research to find-a-grave
