Re: Andrew F Anderson and James L. Anderson

Looks like he was wounded at the Battle of Ezra Church or Lickskillet Road (Also sometimes called Alm's House or Poor House) as part of the Mississippi "High Pressure " Brigade. [Chalmer'/Anderson's/Tuckers/Sharp's] as were the men of the 7th Mississippi. Most of the wounded men were sent to either LaGrange, Barnesville, or Macon by rail. Records after the August 1864 rolls are very limited for this brigade.

You might find medical records and/or burial information in the "Dr. Stroup (Guessing on the spelling) Files" at Austin (Univ. of Texas). there is a detailed account of a man from the 7th Mississippi (William J. Bass Co. G 7th Miss.) who was sent to Macon after he was wounded at Ezra Church. If you would like to read about his journey, go to the 7th Mississippi website, look for "Bass Diary" and the account begins on page 55. Might give you a better idea of what it was like for these men.
