We have been stationed at Jackson the last two months performing police guard duty and extra duty. J. M. Hall, Comding Co. D
There are no surviving later muster rolls. However, one would believe they would have served out their one year term through July, 1863.
Believe they served in Pemberton's army in Gregg's brigade as mounted troops at the Battles of Raymond, May 12, 1863 and Jackson, May 14 serving under Capt. J. M. Hall
