Does anyone know the location of the road between Liberty, Mississippi and Clinton, Louisiana as it existed during the Civil War? Specifically, I am looking for the location of the covered bridge over the west fork of the Amite just south of Liberty, MS. Some information on my wife's family mentions a homeplace on the Liberty-Clinton Road near the covered bridge. Any help is appreciated, and thank you in advance.
