Leave Liberty on HWY 48 going towards Centreville. About 1 mile from the Liberty CH to the left is County Farm RD. Take it, and go about 2 miles, the road will cross a culvert/small bridge and turn kind of back towards the left. If you stop there, you can see where the old road continued straight thru the field. This portion is on private land, but that is the old road from the war.

On County Farm Rd about a mile down, is a road to the right that goes to the Brown Cemetery and curves back out to HWY 48 that goes to an old river crossing, but all the old timers said that was made/used around the turn of the century.
