British carbines destroyed at Verona, MS

The after action reports in the Official Records state that the 7th Indiana Cavalry destroyed 4,000 new English carbines destined for N. B. Forrest's command at Verona, Mississippi on or about December 28, 1864. I am trying to determine if any physical evidence of this destruction has been found by relic hunters and, if so, what pattern are the carbines, Pattern 1856 cavalry or Pattern 1853 Artillery? Any information would be appreciated.
