I was very excited to see that the flag for Co. K of the 18th Mississippi (Burt's Rifles) has survived. I had 3 ancestral cousins that served under this flag. James H. Stuart, Oscar Ewing Stuart and Edward Stuart. Oscar was the adjutant for this company and was killed at Mayre's Heights in Fredericksburg on May 3 1863 serving under this flag.
