Lyman T. Brochers of PA

I could use some help finding a yankee, perhaps a bit unusual for the MS site. Over the years I have found 17 kin who wore gray, 16 from MS, including the 36th, the 31st, the 11th and the 4th MS cavalry (I'm named for a lad from that unit). About a year or so ago I found a newspaper clipping, in some family papers, of the death of "Uncle Lymie", my mother's g-uncle who died about 1915 or so and I can't locate the article. If I remember correctly he was in a PA regiment and was captured at Antietam and served time in 6 Confererate prisons in and around Richmond. Again if I remember correctly, and that's sometimes in question, he was a Capt. Given the recent 150th anniversay of that battle, I remembered the connection.

I know many of you know how to research better than I and any suggestion on how find a site for PA, such as we have for Miss. will be appreciated.

Thanks, Ed
