My great grandmother was Sophornia Owens, daugther of Stephen and Harriet Owens. I don't have any information on Stephen and Harriet, but I do have a tin-type picture of their daughter Sophornia, which I would be glad to share. Sophornia and her husband did not have any male children. She had four daughters and I have pictures of all of them.
I will be having Family Finder DNA run on myself within the next few weeks, I have just ordered the test kit from Family Tree. It will be interesting to see if I match anyone in their database that can connect us to the Owens' family.
