The 1907 enumeration was to intended to identify all Civil War veterans, or their widows, living in the state of Mississippi. Since James D. Williamson died in 1906, his service information would not have been included. However, the evidence already presented makes a very strong argument that James D. indeed served in the 10th NC Heavy Artillery. I would be pleased to review any information that proves otherwise.
