Re: MS 4th Inf ~ Your Ancestors

Jay,

Thanks so much for the kind words and the purchase. I am so glad you liked it.

I would absolutely love to have any information you can spare and I definitely need to revise and expand the book. I got interested in the 4th many, many years ago when I left Mississippi for the mountains of North Carolina and Georgia. I got in touch with a lady named Karen Norman, who gave me a huge amount of research on the 4th. I lost contact with her long ago but she was great. You have probably deduced that my GGG Granddad William was the 2nd Color Bearer. Any personal stories etc can help me make the book better.

Jay, I would really appreciate it if you could leave a review of my book on amazon.com. It would really help me out. I just need an honest review, not necessarily a great one (it can also be short).

It is so good to get positive feedback.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Steve, I just received your books Foremost and Broken Swords. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK.
I had several ancestors in the fourth from Calhoun County, especially Companies F and I. I have read both books and think that I have info that you might like, unless your are worn out. I am related to the Mitchells, Whites, Hardin, Dye Families and others.
I have no pictures from family's in the fourth but two with other Regiments. I have extensive Genealogy record as well as several Compiled records. (war deaths and burial sites.)
Contact me if you are interested.
