Re: Pvt. Cunliffe & Stonewall Jackson

Greeting to all again and THANKS AGAIN for your previous answers..!

Does anyone know of Cunliffe descendants?
I'd love to be in contact with them very soon.

This year marks the 150th Anniversary of the various Ladies' Memorial Associations which set up Confederate Cemeteris throughout the South for proper reinterrments of the fallen C.S.A. soldiers.
The Fredericksburg Ladies' Memorial Association still exists and is very active maintaining the Confederate Cemetery in their city and has held annual Memorial Day commemorations since 1866.
Richard's and Williams' mother traveled to Fredericksburg in 1866 to find her sons' graves and to oversee their reinterrment. As such, she attended the 2nd & 3rd meetings of the Fredericksburg LMA and was voted Honorary Member.

The Fredericksburg LMA has accepted my idea of finding/contacting the Cunliffe family so they can be invited to attend the 150th here in Fredericksburg.
I'd be much in debt for any help..!
Your obedient servant,
Dan Janzegers
