N.C.V. history

Good Evening.
I would like to obtain more information about a unit/name specifically carved in my musket's stock. I have a 1862 Parker Field & Sons .58 Smooth bore Musket Serial#7835 which is etched on the ramrod & Butt plate. It appears to be a blockage runner. Carved in the stock, N.C.V. Co.H 5th Regt.CSA. The soldier's name appears L.L. Urc. I can not find any information about this unit or soldier. Please email with any information.

Thanks
Charles Rehm
