Would someone with ready access to Vol. I (arty) of "NC Troops" (Dept of Archives & History) please check the 36th Regt/2nd Arty for a ref to Frederick W. Gregory (possibly in Co. D from Halifax?) and advise of the particulars? He is listed in the on-line NPS CWSSS only as "2nd NC Arty," for which no history. Info in Clark, vols. II and V, is basis for this query, the latter suggesting a possible home in Halifax, which could equate to Co. F, Pamlico Arty.
