The reason that I have asked about him is that he was a younger brother to my direct line William B. Odell, William born in 1820
had a son James Madison and then moved to Iowa! William B. Odell was in the 46th Iowa and James Madison Odell was in the 36th Iowa,
both had to sign an Oath of Alligence before they were allowed to join up!!
