I have a M1842 Sprfld Musket dated 1844 and rifled but not sited. Markings on it indicate that it belonged to A. Mcplual Co H. 18th N.C. Inf. I am very interested in finding more about the 18th co. H and its position in line the night Gen. Jackson and his party was fired on. Also more on Mcplaul Does company H have a Co. History published? Is there any individuals that are researching the 18th Co. H. Any info would be very helpful. Thank you
