Thank you for your reply. I do have a Archibald Mc Phual 27 year-old Merc Born in Robeson County enlisted 18th N.C Co. H 4/23/61 at Columbus County, N.C. killed in action 5/3/63 Chancellorsville Va. The data from Historical Data Systems Inc. @ www.civilwar.com/active/hdsquery.dll?soldierhistory?c&202597. I am really more concerned about the M1842 Sprfld and its authenticity then with the history of Mc Phaul. Could you recomend some one with expertize in the 18th weapons. Thank You for your time. Pete
