I found only on Bondurant in NC units. In the aggregate of all Confederate troops, some 90 with that surname served as
recorded in the NPS Soldiers and Sailors System.

Enlisted on 2/7/1862 at Warren County, NC as a Private.
On 4/16/1862 he mustered into "C" Co. NC 46th Infantry
He deserted on 8/20/1862 at Camp Stonewall near Petersburg, VA
