Couldn't find any Bon Durants but came up with these two Bundurants.

Residence Rockingham County NC; 19 years old.
Enlisted on 4/24/1862 at Rockingham County, NC as a Private.
On 4/24/1862 he mustered into "A" Co. NC 45th Infantry
He deserted on 7/27/1863 at Luray, VA
born in Rockingham County, NC

Enlisted as a Private April 16, 1864 in "C" Co. VA 6th Bn Reserves Infantry at Abingdon, Virginia, August 31 "Assigned to light duty by Med Board," subsequently dropped from rolls as having never reported,
