Hi Glenn. My g.g.grandfather, W.R.White of 22nd N.C.Inf. also captured 4/2/65 at Petersburg(Hatcher's Run). Prisoner at Hart's Island until 6/18/65. Not sure how he got back to Randolph county, N.C.?
