I am looking for more information on A.B. Tilley who served in the 54th NC Inf. Trying to determine if he is the same man, Aaron B. Tilley, who served in H/42nd Va Inf until discharged, age 46, in November 1861. His wife's 1888 Virginia pension application says he died in 1864 of disease while at home on leave from the army. There is no record of his service in the 42nd Va after his 11/61 discharge.
