I'm going to hazard a quess that no such parole certificates were ever issued. Note the date of surrender is April 30, and paroled the next day, May 1. That is not sufficient time to devise and print parole certificates, and then to have paroling officers go through the motions of facing all these troops, signing, etc.

Also, note, Lee's troops were paroled the same date as their surrender, April 9. I have never heard of how this was effected, but would believe the men were lined up and took a mass oath of parole.

At Vicksburg, the surrender was taken on July 4, the first paroles were issued July 9 on forms, I'm rather sure, were produced in local city print shops.
