Wartime images of these soldiers likely may not exist. If they do, you should expect them to be difficult if not impossible to locate and match with these two men. Subjects in surviving images are frequently not identified.

Start with descendants and ask among them. You can always check with the North Carolina State Archives and ask about their collection of wartime Confederate images.

If you would be satisfied with postwar images, ask about those as well. In addition, check Confederate Veteran Magazine for any reference to reunions and/or these specific men.
