Bruce, In Appendix D there is a roster of Confederates believed to have manned the garrison. Some of the soldiers are listed on the roster as definately being there while others are listed as having possibly been there. Due to poor record keeping it is difficult to determine w/ certainty all the names. Of interest to you would be Sgt. John C. Beard from Co. C, 37th who is listed as possibly being there.
