Hello.

Private John W. Queen, Company I, 39th North Carolina Infantry succumbed to disease on June 3, 1863 in Atlanta, Georgia. He had enlisted from Macon County, North Carolina on March 25, 1862 at a listed age of 45-years old.

I did a search of the Confederate burials that’s listed in Dr. Robert E. Zaworski’s book Head Stones of Heroes: The Restoration and History of Confederate Graves in Atlanta’s Oakland Cemetery but alas, I didn’t note a Queen listed.

Yr Obt Srvt,
Gordon
