Do you have any information on the ancestry of Mary Catherine Parker? You may know that Wapanucka Academy was a Chickasaw Academy for girls. Wapanucka (the Chickasaw name for the Delaware) was built of stone and commonly called "Rock Academy". During the war, "Southern" Creek (Muscogee) refugees camped around the school, that was closed during the war, and the building was used as a hospital. The school was on a hill just south of Wapanucka Creek (now called Delaware Creek) and a few miles northwest of Wapanucka, OK.
