Chase, I liked your post and those of the others regarding this episode of unpreparedness in our history.

America has always had to be knocked to the canvass for an 8-count before she got ticked enought to take it all the way. I don't know if we have the resolve to do that anymore, given the fact that a new defeatist crowd will soon be coming in.

But in the final analysis, as it was mentioned before some time back, if Jake deShazer of Doolittle's Raiders can reconcile with Mitsuo Fuchida, lead pilot at Pearl, then perhaps we can all get along just like St. Rodney enjoined us to.

Don't know about y'all, but tomorrow I'm taking our local Imam out to lunch. Got a great little Japanese restaurant around here that specializes in takifugu...pufferfish...just the way it should be served best...uncooked to perfection.
