Sheridan maybe a little more severely than Grant

True Len, you see whipping the South was just business for Grant and Sherman. Grant's in-laws were from the South. He was close friends with many southerners like Pickett and Longstreet. Sherman lived in the South. I recall him saying something like he knew the terrain of North GA better than the rebs who opposed him. Sheridan had a very acute dislike for Southerners, extremely so, even before the war started , why I don't know.
