"Real Sons & Daughters" of Confederacy

Last year SHAPE held a raffle on a quilt made in part or whole by a Confederate Real Daughter. Her name is Mrs. Katie Johnson Love, born 23 Aug 1919, daughter of Private Richard Johnson who was born in 1850 and died in 1944.
Her Father served in Co. K Ga. Infantry Regiment of Price's Brigade from Muscogee County Georgia and also in the Warren County Militia that served at the Augusta Powderworks.

Just curious if any of you out there have in your family or know of anyone who like in this case is a real Son or Daughter of a Confederate Soldier or Sailor? Also curious to know how many are still alive and well like Mrs. Katie.
