"Real Sons & Daughters" of Conf. / 19th TX Cavalry

In the May 2nd edition of the San Antonio Express News there was an article honoring Marjorie Clark Richards, the 93 year old daughter of Isaac Benton Clark, a member of the 19th Texas Cavalry.

In that article, the claim is made that there are 47 remaining genuine Daughters of the South in the UDC.

I am trying to get the URLs from the SA Express News and when I do, I will post them here. In the meantime, anyone wanting a copy of the article, please send me your email address and I will forward the .pdf versions of the article to you as attachments.

Perhaps someone more familiar with the 19th Texas Cavalry might tell us more about Isaac Benton Clark?
