Martin, the last sentence in your post,,, is the reason why i posted what i did about the masons. My family was in the border wars, and i was told by my family they were masons. I cant imagine that the masons werent affected.
Seems the people who came to Missouri, from kentuckey were of scottish descent, and they were masons. I think maby we will never really know what part they played in
the war.
