Alexander Hamilton on PBS

Did anyone see the "American Experience" two-hour special on Alexander Hamilton? I won't go into detail, but I set my VCR to record it and only got the first hour. It's coming back on again at 2 AM Wednesday, May 16th, so I'm gonna' try again.

I'm posting this "on topic" as, Hamilton was the primary early proponent of Federalism versus Thomas Jefferson and his ideal of a loose Confederation of states with ultimate power at the local level. These two governmental philosophies were ultimately settled in the American Civil War, where Federalism or a strong central government triumphed.

I just wondered how PBS handled a bio of Hamilton. I have mixed feelings about him, but much admiration for his accomplishments.
