Speak for yourself, my friend. Many people in America had rels on both sides of the issue. Same as in 1861-65.

But I will say this for Norman's sake, that a lot of average folk supported the crown 1775-83 and were hung out to dry. But most I think have moved beyond it. That was then, this is now...etc.

We don't begrudge it anymore, but some also remember. UEL types, if you know who they are.
