I didn't know him very well, the Master Sergeant was my Uncle. He was my Dad's sister's husband. But it is kind of neat to have been so close to a CMH winner. I remember as a little kid looking at him as if he was a superhero of some sort. I met the General a couple of times at my Uncle's.
