How are are ye in merry ole England? Beautiful sunny fathers day here in ole Mizzou.

Yes the southern people were verry courageous, but one must remember they were fighting for their verry existance they had no choice, they didnt want the war, but it was forced on them. A war that they couldnt win,,, a war of greed and power executed by the government that was suppose to be of the people ,,, for the people,,, to insure
A more perfect union,,,, to secure the blessings of liberty?

The southern men werent only short of food and supplies. they were starving, and luckey if they had 1 blanket to cover them in freezing weather, their shoes were so worn they were walking barefoot in the snow with bleeding feet,
and they knew back home their family was having the same problems.

It seems so unreal that this could even have happened here, but history tells us it did.
