I'm including another posed photo. I like this one because the discomfort of this two officers is very apparent. It is August 1862 and Lt.s Wright and Ford are suffering in the Virginia heat at Westover Landing. Notice one of them is holding a fan and the mosquito netting over the cot. Their even wearing white gloves!

Whew, turn on the air conditioner.
