why were there no 'trials' for the wardens at the Federal Prisons?

Huh..er...huh...because we won the war and you didn't? Pam can you tell me how many members of the Allied Army were tried for War Crimes after WW2? Nope, seems like it was Germans and Japs, don't it? Now I'm a firm supporter of the Allied effort, I believe the Dresden bombing and the Atom bomb necessary to win the war. But I'se want to tell this story. My dad was a Marine in the South Pacific during WW2. He's about 81 now and still proud of being a Marine during the war. He believed in the cause then and now. I can however remembering him tell about being in liberated China. Some Marines were guarding a supply depot or something. A starving Chinese kid, not even a teen had hung around the gate and was eating out of the garbage cans, one of the guards cut down and shot the kid to pieces. No, it wasn't a case of mistaken identity, he didn't think him a Jap, he knew who he was. The incident was reported but died in the chain of command, was he tried as a war criminal after the war...nope, I don't think so. Now was this the way our boys usually acted...NO...did they have orders, shoot little Chinese boys....NO...Rape Chinese women...No...the Chinese in the main loved seeing the Marines, but incidents and I mean plural happen, but they certainly were not the rule for our boys in the Corps, the people loved them in the main. You win, you win, you lose, you lose...different strokes for different blokes..I used blokes for all the Brits we have around....
