New thoughts on black Confederates

Today on the Michael Medved radio show, he was
interviewing an author named Woods, about his book "Thirty Three Questions You Are Not Supposed To Ask About American History". Though not one of the questions, the subject of Liberia was raised by a caller. During the course of the discussion, Mr. Medved stated that about 11,000 former slaves went to Liberia, and about 30,000 served in the Confederate Army. He stated this as a matter of fact, but gave no sources. No one questioned his figures. Stan
